Les Cascades de Bantry Bay is an elegant lodge perched on the hillside below lion’s head in the most exclusive bay on the Atlantic seaboard. Bantry Bay and part of neighboring Clifton, both completely sheltered from the often-merciless southeastern winds, are indeed the most coveted corners of the Cape Peninsula.

Rooms
The rooms incorporate strong elements of contemporary art, latticed shutters covering large bay windows and private balconies overlooking the ocean. Three pools, superb sun decks and a romantic Indonesian-style Bale, all designed for maximum comfort and intimacy. The Main Lodge is the heart of the hotel. The Villa, adjacent to the Main Lodge, with its own private pool, consists of four
modern, comfortable rooms. All Villa rooms offer the same features as the rooms in the Main Lodge. Equally splendid sea views from every room. The style of the decor balances between classic traditional and contemporary.

Dining
Taking full advantage of the extraordinary wind free position in Bantry Bay, dining at Les Cascades de Bantry Bay is an outdoors event throughout summer. A romantic al fresco dinner on the deck in the Main Lodge, while the sun sets over the ocean below, is for many one of the highlights of their holiday. Coziness and intimacy close to the open fire place prevail during the less warm winter evenings in the fine dining restaurant at the Villa.
