Primeira archipelago is situated off the coast of Pembane, Mozambique. It consists of 5 uninhabitated islands and is renowned for its abundance in fish and pristine coral reefs. It contains one of the most pristine coral reefs in the world, equal to the red sea. The fishing at Davids shoal is on a par with Bassas Da India & far more accessible. It is a secret destination, which only a few know about.
This is one of the world’s few remaining unspoilt locations. The warm Mozambique Channel ensures pleasant swimming and diving conditions all year round. Madagascar from the East protects the islands from the notorious cyclone alley as well as harsh weather conditions. The islands are malaria free and are surrounded by indigenous forests. Due to it being uninhabited, it has inconceivable amounts of sea life, rare in today’s over fished & exploited waters. The easy accessible coral reef abounds with all types of tropical fish imaginable. The area is also renowned breeding ground for leatherback turtles.
