Situated in the magnificent Quirimbas Archipelago on the coast of Northern Mozambique, Matemo Island Resort is one of two new additions to the luxurious Rani Resorts portfolio.
Matemo Island Resort is an unspoilt, unexplored island paradise, with beautiful white beaches and thousands of palm trees swaying in the breeze. Matemo is 8 kilometres in length and 3 kilometres wide – a magical destination with private beaches and countless coves to be discovered and blissful surroundings to be experienced.
Rooms
24 Chalets – Situated 10 metres from the beach, all chalets are en suite with indoor and outdoor showers, a custom-made bath, a large front veranda with loungers and hammock, as well as all the amenities one expects from a luxury resort conforming to internationally accepted standards. All chalets are beautifully furnished and are equipped with air conditioning, outdoor hammock, ceiling fans, fully mosquito screened, hair dryer, mini bar, personal electronic safe, satellite TV and the convenience of tea/coffee making facilities.
Dining
Chalets are set separately from the main building where you’ll dine on sublime local seafood fare, relax at the swimming pool and enjoy exotic cocktails at the bar.
